Waves Summer Day Camps, Workshops, and Groups
(In-Person)
Registration will begin for our Waves in-person summer day camps, workshops, and groups the first week of March 2025. Please send an email to Shelley at wavesautismcenter@gmail.com with a good contact number if you would like to receive an application and an email to set up a free call to schedule an intake so that we can meet as a part of the registration process if you are a new student. At that time the summer camp dates for June and July will be posted.

We look forward to seeing all of our current and future students this Summer 2025!

Please contact Shelley Spivey at 478-733-2597 at Waves for more information. New students can apply for a referral at https://referral.gvs.ga.gov. A GVRA counselor will contact you. Wait time varies but can take up to 30 to 60 days. We encourage students to apply as soon as possible to be placed in a queue to receive an email for an intake interview by a GVRA counselor who will give a referral to Waves if a family makes this request. Please let them know you are interested and would like to choose Waves to be your provider of choice.

Culinary
Last year we made a culinary treat from two different countries! During this rotation we will discover different foods and treats they may enjoy!

Art
It was so much fun to have different projects representing a country during camp! Last year we made an Australian boomerang and also learned how to make Japanese marble art!

Science & Gardening Stem Projects
During camp we have used Bricklab bricks to build different types of architecture from around the World. We also focused on science and gardening projects that were both fun and interactive, teaching important life skills.
